P P Savani University celebrated PPSU Shivotsav 2026 with devotion, cultural vibrance, and a beautiful spirit of togetherness. The celebration brought together Provost Shri Prag Sanghani, the Registrar, members of the Cultural Committee, faculty, staff, and students to celebrate the divine presence of Lord Shiva and embrace the richness of Indian traditions.

The celebration began with a spirited Kawad Yatra, where students, faculty, and staff came together in devotion. Dressed in traditional attire, the PPSU family walked together towards the I Building Amphitheatre, creating an atmosphere filled with faith, energy, and cultural pride.

The occasion beautifully reflected the essence of spirituality and tradition, with joyful faces, heartfelt prayers, devotional singing, and meaningful participation from the entire university community.

A deeply spiritual moment of the celebration was the collective chanting of the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra:

ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम्।
उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान्मृत्योर्मुक्षीय मामृतात्॥

The sacred chanting resonated across the amphitheatre, creating an atmosphere of peace, positivity, and divine energy. The collective prayers and mantra jaap brought everyone together in a moment of reflection, devotion, and spiritual connection.

The celebration continued with Mahamrityunjaya Abhishek and Shivling Pooja, followed by the offering of flowers and prayers to Lord Shiva. Faculty members, staff, and students participated with श्रद्धा (devotion), making the rituals deeply meaningful and memorable.

The celebration was filled with smiling faces, devotional music, prayers, and moments of togetherness. The vibrant traditional attire added colour and elegance to the occasion, while the collective singing and prayers created a warm and spiritually uplifting environment.

The presence of Provost Dr. Parag Sanghani, the Registrar, Cultural Committee members, faculty, staff, and students made the celebration even more special. Together, the PPSU community beautifully demonstrated how culture, spirituality, and education can come together to create meaningful experiences.
