Students from the Mechanical and Automobile Engineering departments took a one-day industrial tour of SUMUL Dairy on March 1, 2024. The visit provided an invaluable opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience with the mechanical engineering components used in dairy production, including boilers, heat exchangers, cooling towers, and refrigeration systems. Additionally, students learned about the pasteurization process that removes harmful bacteria from milk. They also observed the manufacturing of various dairy products like butter, ghee, paneer, and buttermilk. Overall, the industrial tour gave students practical insight into the mechanical engineering principles applied in a real-world dairy plant.
On March 10, 2025, BTech and Diploma students from Chemical and Mechanical Engineering (Semesters 4 & 6) visited Waaree Solar Industry, Chikli, Gujarat—a leading solar cell manufacturer with NABL-certified labs.
Students explored solar panel manufacturing, including cell arrangement, laminating, framing, and testing, while learning about Waaree's innovations in HJT and N-Type TOPCon technologies. The visit provided hands-on exposure to advanced solar technologies, bridging academics and industry.

Enhancing Knowledge in Irrigation & Water Resources
On March 6, 2025, Civil Engineering students visited Bhadbhut Barrage for hands-on exposure to irrigation and water resource management. They explored hydraulic structures, construction methodologies, and quality control practices.

Enhancing Skills in Advanced Engineering Technologies
We are delighted to share that students and faculty from the Mechanical Engineering Department of PP Savani University successfully completed a five-day training program at the International Automobile Centre of Excellence (iACE) in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, on February 17, 2025.

On September 13, 2024, Mechanical Engineering students and faculty from P P Savani University visited NBC Bearings, Vadodara (Phase-1 & Phase-2).
They explored bearing manufacturing processes like raw material selection, forging, grinding, and assembly, along with advanced technologies such as CNC machining, robotic automation, and digital inspection.
The visit enhanced their understanding of precision engineering in modern manufacturing.
The industrial visit to Einfochips, Ahmedabad, was organized under the guidance of Dr.Niraj Shah (Dean, SOE) to give students exposure to real-world industry practices, career opportunities, and the role of software engineers in the IT sector. The program included career guidance sessions, insights into DevOps, and an interactive Experience Zone visit, enabling students to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry applications. The sessions, including the Experience Zone introduction by Ms. Ami Doshi, the Career Guidance Session by Mr. Bharat Advani, and the DevOps Career Guidance by Mr. Palas Gajjar and Mr.Faraz Ansari, proved to be highly insightful and motivating for our students. The hospitality extended, along with the well-structured schedule, made the entire visit a truly enriching experience. The visit has greatly helped our students understand industry practices, explore career opportunities, and gain valuable exposure beyond academics.

Mechanical Engineering Department, School of Engineering, P P Savani University has organized an industrial visit to JMT Pvt. Ltd. and Laxmi Metal, Surat for ME3 & ME5 students under the Manufacturing Technology subject.
Students observed key processes like moulding, pattern making, core preparation, furnace operation, and molten metal pouring, gaining insight into real-world manufacturing practices.
The students of B.Sc. IT, 5th Semester (Division C) had the opportunity to participate in a one-day industrial visit to Niqox_ABOX, Surat on 03.10.2025 (Friday).
