The celebration commenced with the gracious presence of our esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Lavjibhai D. Daliya, an inventive and renowned personality fondly known as “Badshah”, Founder and Chairman of the Gopin Group. The university was also honoured by the presence of our beloved Founder and Chairperson, Shri Vallabhbhai Savani Ji, Director Mr. Sneh Savani, respected Provost Dr. Parag Sanghani, along with distinguished university officials, faculty members and staff.
The programme began with the traditional university prayer, creating an atmosphere of gratitude, reflection and togetherness. This was followed by the flag-hoisting ceremony, a proud moment that filled the campus with patriotic spirit as the National Flag soared high.
Adding colour and cultural richness to the celebration, students presented a series of captivating performances. The cultural programme featured a soulful chorus performance, Shiv Tandavam and several other energetic and inspiring presentations. Each performance reflected the talent, dedication and cultural diversity of the PPSU community.
Celebrating Excellence Beyond Borders:
One of the most memorable moments of the celebration was the recognition of our students who brought pride to the nation by representing Team India at the Rocball Championship 2026 in Kathmandu, Nepal. Their remarkable achievement of winning the Championship on an international platform was celebrated and honoured by the university.
P P Savani University also recognised and awarded students who demonstrated excellence in various inter-school competitions. Their achievements reflect the university’s commitment to nurturing students not only academically, but also in sports, culture, leadership and other areas of excellence.
Discipline, Service and Team Spirit:
The spirit of patriotism was further strengthened by an impressive NCC Parade, showcasing discipline, courage and commitment. The university’s NSS volunteers also played an important role in supporting the celebration, embodying the values of service, responsibility and social commitment.
The Human Pyramid and Security March were among the major attractions of the event, drawing enthusiastic attention from students and creating an atmosphere filled with excitement and national pride. These performances beautifully demonstrated coordination, confidence, teamwork and discipline.
The 80th Independence Day celebration at P P Savani University was more than a ceremonial occasion. It was a celebration of India’s spirit, student achievement, cultural heritage, discipline, service and the collective strength of the PPSU family.
The university extends its heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed guests, leadership, faculty members, staff, NSS volunteers, performers, award-winning students, event teams and every individual who contributed their time, effort and support to making the occasion truly purposeful, meaningful and memorable.
