General Guidelines

• The PPSU Marvel Games is an inter-school multi-sport event designed to offer young talents an opportunity to demonstrate their sporting prowess. To participate in this exciting competition, schools are required to complete the registration process using the provided QR code. Please note that only teams with valid registrations through their respective school authorities will be considered for participation.
• Each player is allowed to participate in a maximum of two events. However, if a player fails to arrive at the venue for their scheduled match on time, their opponent will receive a walkover victory.
• The event or sports competition will only proceed if there are a minimum of 15 registrations.
• The teams with maximum overall points at the completion of all events of PPSU Marvel Games will be declared as “Champion of PPSU Marvel Games”. The teams with the maximum overall points at the completion of all events of the PPSU Marvel Games will be declared as "Champion of the PPSU Marvel Games".

• Each participant is required to bring their school ID issued by the school along with an I-card issued by the government. In case of the unavailability of the school I-card, they are required to bring a bona fide certificate with their photograph and school seal (half on the photograph and half on the certificate). The team should report 30 minutes before the start of the match. Any team that is more than 10 minutes late compared to the scheduled time will have to forfeit the match.
• The referee's decision will be the final one during the game. In the event of a conflict, the decisions of the Sports Committee will be considered final.
• Protests, if any, against the decision of the technical officials shall be made in writing to the organizer at least within 60 minutes of the incident with a protest fee of Rs. 5,000, which shall be refunded if the appeal is upheld. The decision of the jury committee shall be final and binding on all participants.
• The entire tournament will be held as per the schedule and time decided by the PPSU Sports Committee well in advance. There will be no rescheduling of any event; in the event of a withdrawal, the opposing team will receive a walkover.
• The March Past of participants in proper sports attire will be held during the Opening Ceremony at 9:30 a.m. on October 26, 2023. Any team not participating in the march past will be disqualified. Parents, coaches, managers, and unauthorized persons are strictly prohibited from entering the playing area during the matches.
• The schedule of the tournament will be displayed on the notice board placed at the venue and on the tournament website.
• Fixtures will be drawn by the tournament committee on October 23, 2023, at 12 noon and uploaded on the website on October 24, 2023, at 12 noon.
• Maintaining discipline at the venues will be the sole responsibility of team captains, managers, and coaches/PETs.
• Proper sports attire according to the respective sports will only be allowed for participating in any sports event.
• The incidents of indiscipline will be reported to the principal of the concerned school for necessary action.
• All participants are expected to behave in a civil and decent fashion while on the PPSU campus, both on and off the field, and abide by the rules of the campus.
• Free stay and subsidised food facility will be available for participants.
• By participating in the event, you agree that the Sports Committee and PPSU are not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or death during, before, or after the event.
• In case of Male & Female teams participation, complete registration of one gender first (For e.g. Male) and then restart on the other gender.
• The organizing committee reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel the event under unforeseen circumstances without the obligation to provide explanations to the participants.
• The modified rules will be announced by the referee before the start of games.
• Parents, Coaches, Managers and unauthorized persons are strictly prohibited in the playing area during the matches.
• Schedule of the tournament will be displayed on the notice board placed at the venue and the Tournament. website,
• Fixtures will be drawn by tournament committee on October23, 2023 at 12 noon and will be uploaded on the website on October 24 2023 at 12 noon.
• Maintaining discipline at the venues will be the sole responsibility of Team Captains, Managers and Coaches/ PETs.
• Proper sports attire according to respective sports will only be allowed for participating in any sports event.
• The incidents of the indiscipline will be reported to the Principal of the Concerned School For necessary action.
• All participants are expected to behave in a civil and decent fashion while on the PPSU Campus, both on and off the field, and abide by the rules of the campus.
• PPSU Sports Committee will not bear any expenses of food and accommodation of visiting teams. Participating schools will have to bear all the other expenses.
• By participating in the event, you agree that Sports Committee and PPSU is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or death during, before or after the event.
• The organizing committee reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel the event under unforeseen circumstances, without the obligation to provide explanations to the participants.
• The modified rules will be informed by Referee before start of games.
• Any changes in rules of game(s) in PPSU Marvel Games undertaken for facilitating timely completion or logistic ease, the referee will communicate these alterations to the team captains prior to the commencement of the match.
