Brief Profile: Dr. Hari Babu is Gold Medalist from Dr. M.G.R. Medical University Chennai, Tamil Nadu and Received SEVARATNA DR. R. VENKATESALU GOLD MEDAL AWARD from Governor of Tamil Nadu for his outstanding performance in under graduation; He had completed his Post Graduatation in Orthopaedics and Post Graduate Diploma in Acupuncture with Distinction. He has More than 15 years of Teaching and Clinical experience in Government Medical College. He regularly participates in National and International Conferences. He has conducted many workshops, CME, and Training Programs to upgrade the knowledge of Physiotherapists, He had uploaded many Educational videos in you tube which is popular all over India.
He had guided many Undergraduate and Post graduate students of various disciplines like Orthopaedics, and Cardio-respiratory Physiotherapy.
He has sound knowledge in treating patients of Orthopaedic, Sports, Cardio-respiratory and Neurology patients and was Internal and External Examiner in Reputed universities for more than 10 Years.
His research interests are in the fields of Myofacial release Techniques (MFR) and Muscle Energy Techniques (MET).
Dr Ashish Mathur
Dr Ashish Mathur is a Professor in School of Physiotherapy of P P Savani University. He is a Graduate from Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Institute for Physically Handicapped; New Delhi, affiliated to Delhi University, and has done Masters Degree in Sports Physiotherapy from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He has more than 15 years of Teaching and Clinical experience in Government Medical College. He has conducted many workshops, CME, and Training Programs to upgrade the knowledge of students and Physiotherapists. He has guided many research projects of students and thesis of Post graduate students. He regularly participates in National and International Conferences.
He has received significant Contribution Award in Physiotherapy Conference at AIIMS, New Delhi in the year 2015. He is Board of Studies member of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidhyalaya, Indore and M.P Medical Science University, Jabalpur. He has been on Examiner panel for both Graduate and Post graduate degree courses in reputed universities.
His teaching interests are in Sports, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Movement Science. His research interests are in the fields of Sports injury epidemiology and Prevention, Exercise for health and chronic disease, Fall Prevention, Education and Curriculum development for health care professionals, Design and review, Embedding global health learning into health science curricula and Inter-professional learning. He has an illustrious career of 20 years and as a health care professional, he has treated and rehabilitated many sports injury patients and patients suffering from various Neuro-musculoskeletal conditions.
His other interests include playing Chess, exploring Metaphysics and listening to Indian Music.
Dr. Bindesh Patel
Area of Interest: Sports Physiotherapy, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Exercise Science
Brief profile: Prof Dr.Bindesh D. Patel is a Faculty of Physiotherapy at the P.P.Savani School of Physiotherapy, P.P.Savani Knowledge city, Surat, Gujarat since July 2016. He is interested in teaching courses mainly Sports Physiotherapy, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Exercise Therapy. Dr. Bindesh has done MPTh in Musculoskeletal and Sports from MGM University, Navi Mumbai. He has attended many National conferences. He has also worked as medical convener during 20th commonwealth table tennis championship. He has done internationally certified Kinesio Taping workshop and Neural Tissue Mobilization workshop. He has also delivered a lectures on different topics related to sports at Swarnim Gujarat Sports University, Gandhinagar. He also won second price in ‘research protocol formation’ at Scientifica (A research oriented conference), Pune.
Dr. Sanjib Kumar Das
Dr. Sanjib Kumar Das, MPT, Fellow PhD. is an Assistant Professor in the School of Physiotherapy of P.P Savani University. Dr Das’s contribution as an Academician, Clinician and Researcher has been honored with Young Achievers Award, Senior Research paper award, Junior Research paper award at times from Indian Association of Physiotherapists. Dr. Das has more than 25 publications including international journals of repute, edited book chapters and articles in regional newspapers. He has remained involved in various research projects funded by MHRD, Govt. of India. He has been invited to deliver key note lectures in Ergonomics and to present scientific papers in several international and national conferences in India and abroad. He has pursued Fellow Doctoral in the domain of Ergonomics and Human Factors Engineering from NITIE, Mumbai. He is specialized in Musculoskeletal Disorders and has an area of interest in the occupational health and hazards, work-related musculoskeletal disorders, ergonomics and bioengineering.
Dr. Samira Mulla
Dr. Samira Mulla (BPT) is a Clinical Therapist in the School of Physiotherapy of P P Savani University. She did her graduation (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) from Yenepoya University, Manglore, Karnataka. She is certified under Manual therapy course, under the guidance of well known mentor Dr. Mohanty. She has done Group Research in checking the effect of musculoskeletal disorder in workers by using patient transfer technique in hospital set up.
Her field of interest is in Orthopedics. She has participated in many National & International conferences. She is passionate about spreading the awareness of Physiotherapy as a reliable and affordable healthcare solution in both urban and rural India.
Her other interests include reading fiction and nonfiction.
Dr. Chetana G. Bodar
Dr. Chetana G. Bodar is a Tutor/Clinical Therapist in school of Physiotherapy of P P Savani University. She did her graduation (B.P.T) and post graduation (M.P.T.neuroscience) from VNSGU University, SURAT. She has received many medals and awards for best academic performance and in curricular activities, respectively.
She has participated many state level conference and also part (student organizing secretary) of organizing state level conference in Surat in 2016-2017.
She has done group study during her bachelors on comparative study between stretching and massage along with cryotherapy on trigger band among laboratory worker. She has also done thesis work during PG on stroke patients.
She has done certified course on NDT under well-known pediatric PT Dr.Sadaf Saiyed and worked in Pearl Pediatric Physiotherapy and Neurodevelopment centre. Along with that she has attended workshops, seminars, and CME.
She is interested in teaching, reading book, listening music, creative arts, and cultural activities.
